In this photograph Wrought Artwork's fitter, is assembling the scrolls and other forged components with drilled and tapped holes, then screwing the elements together.
This is the traditional way of assembling ironwork. It is not welded. The look is extremely neat and of a high quality. If your budget allows this, it is our favoured assembly method. The look of a reproduction 18 century staircase can be successfully achieved. |
