Restored by Wrought Artworks in 1993 for the Dept of Public works. The gates were completely dismantled, badly corroded components were remade.

The firewelded cornstalk detail at the top of the gate took 2 weeks to perfect. The leaf detail required complex stakes to be made to form the cut out leaf. The paint specification seems to be holding up well in it's harsh foreshore environs.
